I’m always blown away by the service that I receive. Daniel has been out twice now and hopefully I can keep him as my tech. He is knowledgeable beyond his years and really wants to make your experience the best it can. Always the best!
Daniel is very knowledgable and personable. Did an excellent job!
I have had problems with office services. Not phone personnel. They know what I am talking about.
Alex went over all the unit that was installed explaining everything that needed to be done for the up keep of the drain to keep it clear and when to change the filter
Ian was very informative on the A/C unit. We really got the knowledge on what was best for our needs.
Took a lot of my time and didn’t get answers just trying to sell me like most must work on commissions!!
Zak is so knowledgeable and very nice. He did a great job. Thank you!
Zak was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would really like him to do the repair work when it’s scheduled in a few days (after the parts come in).
Hobson has been taking care of my Heat/AC systems for years. I have never had an unpleasant tech from Hobson. Today's checkout of my heating system was no exception. Justin was just as professional, informative and pleasant as I expected.
Mike was very professional and went straight to work. Did not take long at all.
Ok I washed the condensor and checked components. The ssytem is in tolermance and read for cooling. The air handler has the beings of biogrowth and could benifit from uv system. At this point the filter is clean system is now ready for operation.
04/18/24 - Tech Cody arrived to customer's home Nad met Ms. Paula. She guided me inside to the thermostat and indoor unit. I started my inspection inside, the filter was recently replaced, the coil was clean, the blower wheel had some dust buildup, the blower capacitor was in tolerance. I put the system on heat and the furnace went through all of its safeties with no issue and began to operate normally. I then started outside with washing down the coil, when I checked the electrical equipment I found everything to be operating normally according to the manufacturer data tag. When I hooked up my guages I found the system to be low on charge and when I made the homeowner aware of this she didn't want to check for a leak. The system was keeping her comfortable and she doesn't want to replace it unless it is needed. Another tech will come out Saturday to spray the microbial misting and to do a duct inspection.

Install electric 36K upflow with standard filtration and code kit
Arrived for Rec Work Installed IAQ 1000 Relayed information about the install and gave videos on how to change out media. System working before I left.
Repaired leak in suction line. Purged with nitrogen, pulled a vacuum and charged system with 16lbs of R410a refrigerant. System operating as it should upon departure.
On arrival system was off. I turned the system on and the Compressor was pulling a low amp draw and thermally overloaded in 3 minutes. System is completely out of refrigerant after having 4 pounds put in it a week prior. I recommended replacing the system due to it's advanced age and condition and the cost of repairs.
For this eval I inspected the furnace and condenser. Homeowners stated it was blowing air but not cold air and wouldn't reach desired temperature at 73°. Upon inspecting the condenser I noticed it wasn't even running and would not start, I threw a temporary capacitor on and reset the pressure switch and that got it running. I like searched the furnace and did not find a leak however I searched the condenser and found a leak in the back right side of the condenser near the compressor. This machine is well over 15 years old and uses R-22 refrigerant. I informed the homeowner of what I found and is options, and he elected to get in touch with Rob and set a meeting for Monday at 3:00 p.m.
04/12/24 : techs Cody and Hunter arrived at customer's home, we were guided inside to the thermostat and indoor unit. As we were verify that the unit was running we found that the outdoor unit was not turning on. The unit gave a low pressure fault code, so we hooked up the guages and found the system had no charge. We conducted a leak search and found one at the indoor coil, we did not have the tools on hand to repair the leak. We charged the system and got the unit to turn on so the customer would have cooling this weekend and conducted as much of the tune as we could inside. A more senior tech will come out Monday to repair the leak and complete the rest of the tune up.
