I have been trying to find someone to work on a walk-in tub with no luck. Daniel came out, spent time figuring out the problem and made a recommendation. I will be a repeat customer because of him when I need something else fixed.

Came to job for electrical inspection and also to look at issue that customer was having last time I was here and while I was here doing the inspection she called the steam room people and they took her through a step by step tutorial on how to fix it and ended up working and everything just the last person she talked to told her a totally different thing and wanted her to get an electrician into the attic and and that wasn't true but everything is fixed and working customer is super happy House looks great no issues at all

for this job, I did a cooling tuneup. Filter was dirty. Homeowner did not have replacement. Told homeowner to replace ASAP. Biological growth in unit, suggested IAQ. Evap coil and blower are both dirty, suggested cleaning and let homeowner know that could be addressed during the IAQ visit. Homeowner declined at this time. At the outdoor unit, capacitor was good. Running amps were good. In rush was good. Refrigerant was good. Washed out coil and unit was running and cooling when I left.

Upon arrival for double tune up homeowner showed me to both thermostats and attic access to units I asked homeowner for filters to replace which he mentioned that he had recently replaced them I also asked homeowner for container of bleach or white vinegar which he provided Homeowner mentioned drain line concern and non cooling concern, I let him know I would look into both. I began tune-up indoors, started checking details on both units both were cooling well, checked blower motors both in good condition Checked evaporator could which were in good condition, while checking drain lines I found primary on downstairs to have a little buildup at connection but I was able to clear with my finger. Afterwards both drain lines drained good with no backups. Finally I switched units to heat and checked heating components all in working tolerance Moved to outdoor units where I started with checking safety disconnects on both, both in good condition Removed condenser fans and checked both good C

Came to customer's house to look at adding a generator outlet also adding a Tesla car charger and also adding a plug for the furnace so that he can plug a generator into it when needed. Also customer was told by other company that he needed a panel change to be able to add the car charger which is not true customers panel has enough room to add what they want without any upgrade to the panel Email customer quotes on everything and will reach back out to us once he's got other quotes If all work is done together at once, plug in kitchen will be replaced for free or 100$ off

For this job I came back to install a new PSC blower motor because the old one had seized up. I spoke with Matt, Joan's son on the phone and explained to him that the new blower was working and the system was cooling and producing a 16-18⁰ split. When I gauged up I used a PT chart to convert 410a pressure into R22 pressure because my gauges do not read R22 refrigerant, and the system appeared to have a restricted TXV. The superheat was high, at 28⁰ and the Subcool was within range at 13⁰ indicating that the TXV was if not already restricted and not metering the correct amount of refrigerant through the coil. The dual Run Capacitor was out of tolerance so with Matt's permission I installed a new one. I tested the furnace as well to make sure that it was functioning and it went through the sequence of operations with no issues and heating so the customer should be okay for the winter. I reiterated to Matt that with me replacing the blower motor I could not guarantee that there would

For this cooling tune-up not inspected the customers air handler and condenser. For the most part all equipment was measuring within manufacturer specs and running well. The compressor was pulling higher amps than it was rated for so I highly recommended to the customer that I install a Hard Start Kit to lower start up amps to the compressor and that by doing so it will extend the life of the compressor. I also advised the customer that her water pressure was above 80 psi which can cause issues in the water lines and seals in different fixtures in the home, however she wants to wait for now.

For this evaluation the customer system had stopped cooling, the compressor was running as well as the fan and indoor unit. What I gauged up the customer had a 50-plus degree superheat with a piston metering device and a Target superheat up between 26 and 30. Before gauging up I noticed the Schrader on the saturation line was loose and I could see visible bubbling indicating the refrigerant was escaping from that Schrader. Just to be safe I went ahead and leave search the evaporator coil as well it was not able to find a leak which leads me to believe that the cause of low refrigerant was in fact from the loose Schrader valve.

For this evaluation the customers complaint was a burning smell coming from the furnace and the system wasn't cooling. Upon inspection it appeared the coil had frozen up and the blower was making a loud humming sound and not running. The blower motor had power however was barely spinning, indicating the motor bearings were seizing up in addition to running extremely hot. The system is a 2006 straight cool, and with the age I spoke with the customer about his options which he elected to just replace the blower motor at this time. I explained to the customer that when I replace the motor I cannot guarantee there won't be other issues to follow and my overall recommendation would be system replacement.

For this job we performed a super tune-up. We noted that the fan motor was running close to the highest rating on the data tag and that the compressor was amping over the rated lra rating on the data tag. I suggested adding either a compressor saver kit or a soft start kit for longitivity purposes of the compressor. Homeowners declined. No further suggestions were made, thank you for choosing comfort experts!
