Customer didn't want me to come out. All he wanted was to talk to someone to see if we would be a reputable company to work on his Amana system in the future when he has problems. HE HAD NO DESIRE TO REPLACE OR EVEN TALK ABOUT REPLACING HIS CURRENT SYSTEM
12/8/25 For this call I performed an evaluation. The unit had a fault for high pressure lockout. I discovered the unit has a faulty txv, holding for parts. Call customer to schedule rec work when part comes in. Left system on 70 emheat advised owner to use emergency heat until part arrives. Refrigerant will need to be added at time of rec work.
For this job, I worked on a super tune-up on this one year old heat pump system. I went through all the mechanical electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. For this job, as I arrived the upstairs unit was not heating. I opened up the unit and turned it on and I could hear the inducer motor turning on but the inducer motor fan was not running. I turned off the unit and inspected the inducer motor fan to see if there was anything that was avoiding the fan to run. I also decided to give it a couple spins with my hand, and after three spins it made a click sound and the fan started running again. For this job I performed an evaluation. The complaint was high dust levels, the unit was functioning and has been within normal limits per owner. No obvious tears were found or noted on ducts that were replaced with the unit 2 years ago by other company. I have completed my electrical tune up the electrical panel looked great the sub panel also looked really good we talked about a possible generator inlet and getting some lights on the front of the house of which I have made an estimate for the generator inlet but if I were to make a estimate for the light it would have to be in more dedicated and thorough search just to make sure that what I'm dealing with in the Attic is manageable

On this job I looked at both heating and cooling. I'm happy to report both sides test in tolerance. TD is 20. Subcool is low because I just washed the system super heat is 16. I will be coming back to install micro air soft start when parts arrive.
On this job I I looked at both heating and cooling. The system has a nasty clunck noise when it turns on. We can solve this with an easy start. Also the system needs a new filter. Aprt from this the system test in tolerance. TD is ,20 Subcool 10 Superheat 17
On this job I did a double cooling tune up. Both systems super heat is 15°. I washed and cleaned both condensors. I'm happy to report that both test in tolerance. Concerns Dirt build up in return ducts. filter box is torn. High LRA 112/67 System could use duct cleaning for the dirty ducts New filter Easy start management system for high LRA to reduce inrush bye 75% adding longevity. Duct cleaning set for this Thursday at 10am. This is a lv 1 Easy start system added to the down stairs system******* 112 down to 39 amps****** Pausing the call for duct cleaning.
9/11/25 Need to come back after the home owners have scheduled the shower remodel as if I do it now they won't have lighting in the shower for who knows how long, so awaiting a call from customer for date
Came to job for electrical inspection and also to look at issue that customer was having last time I was here and while I was here doing the inspection she called the steam room people and they took her through a step by step tutorial on how to fix it and ended up working and everything just the last person she talked to told her a totally different thing and wanted her to get an electrician into the attic and and that wasn't true but everything is fixed and working customer is super happy House looks great no issues at all
for this job, I did a cooling tuneup. Filter was dirty. Homeowner did not have replacement. Told homeowner to replace ASAP. Biological growth in unit, suggested IAQ. Evap coil and blower are both dirty, suggested cleaning and let homeowner know that could be addressed during the IAQ visit. Homeowner declined at this time. At the outdoor unit, capacitor was good. Running amps were good. In rush was good. Refrigerant was good. Washed out coil and unit was running and cooling when I left.
