I requested information from Hobsons Comfort Experts on purchasing a generator for my home. Jeremy S was able to answer all my questions from size of unit, approximate price and location, and how it would work with the local utility co. Coming out a day earlier than originally expected, he was very knowledgeable and able to identify possible location, answered questions about noise, approx purchase price, and how it works with the electric co. Jeremy was respectful and didn’t mind all my questions. Thank you so much for quickly responding and giving me an idea for what to expect on an estimate!

.upon arrival techs found that the unit was only running off two emergency heat strips tech found that the primary electrical control unit was burned up techs also found that all the electrical wires for heat kit are loose and burning techs replaced 5 ends of the wires
I disconnected the auxiliary heat wire and explained customer how to put it back on and I reset the thermostat explained to her how to do that as well. If we have to come back out, I told her we would have to charge a service fee and at that time, we would probably charge a minor electrical repair.
2024 Amana Airhandler Checked and tightened all electrical connections Changed customer provided filter Filter is slightly too small for filter box Drain was clear and draining at this time UV lamp was out on arrival Heat strips were functional and within manufacture range Blower Motor and wheel were acceptable Evaporator coil was acceptable 2024 Amana Heatpump Checked and tightened all electrical connections Dual run capacitor was within manufacture range Primary electrical unit was acceptable Refrigerant levels were acceptable Defrost is functional Fan blades and motor were acceptable Condenser coils were acceptable Cleared debris from the bottom of the unit Washed condenser coils from the inside out Roof does not have a Heatpump gutter so when it rains and freezes ice will build up and keep fan from working properly. Recommended UV system upgrade or replacement of the UV lamp along with Heatpump gutter

Came to job to do electrical work and did the work quoted and at a generator plug also tested it at the end and everything was working perfectly and customers happy

Upon arrival customer stated outdoor system sounded louder than normal. Checked refrigerant levels and found no issues, checked all connections and run capacitor everything was within manufacture range. The RLA for the compressor was 23.7 running amps at this time were 17.9, slightly high but still withing manufacture range. Indoor is 2023 model and outdoor is 2024. Unable to find out with homeowner if the outdoor was replaced before moving in. If so could be possible that the system was not fully evacuated and compressor is running loud due to that. Recommended customer continue to keep an eye on the system and to call for any other issues. Setup comfort advisor for generator and electrician for plug thats not working in living room confirmed by the office
Came to job to quote adding generator plug and customer has a 30 amp generator and one throughout a plug for so talk to him about that and also talk to him about a 50 amp one but customer still just wants to add a 30 amp one and quoted him to do it and will be back tomorrow if not Thursday to do it
Came out to job for Daniel needing a plug added up top and warehouse for instant hot water and everything is working and operating fine before we left Installed point of use water heater and whole water supply descaler in chicken coop tested for leaks no leaks job complete Installed point of use wh for lav faucet in warehouse and installed whole water supply descaler in ware house tested for leaks no leaks job complete Electrical up sized breaker and had to install plumbing and j box for insta hot
Came to San Juan ranch with Jeremy to take a look at some breakers and a chicken coop that have been consistently popping and tripping without anything plugged into them and got here and talked about it with Jeremy and found that the breakers are bad and will consistently trip until they are replaced with new ones but talked with somebody and they wanted to just put normal breakers in and skip the AFCI protection after swapping breakers checked every plug and plugged in heater to places to see if it would trip and nothing was tripping everything was staying on and working as it should
Two point of use emax water heatersone at the copp and installing one in the warehouse installing tomorrow first call scheduled with Jeremy S. Also installing 2 flow tech descaling devices to prevent scale build up on emax water heaters
Alex D - arrived and spoke with customer about his concerns with the unit 1.unit was very loud yesterday morning 2. Filter door stuck on Checked outdoor charge in heating made sure unit was operating as it should be Found the loud noise to be coming from the bedroom on the exact opposite side of the wall from the unit customer is hearing the refrigerant lines in the wall Got filter door to properly open and close Set dip switch at outdoor unit to defrost every 90 minutes instead of 30
12/26/25 Wants to reschedule Performed Tune up on main and secondary systems. Checked all functions and components, all components were within manufacture range. Found no issues and filters were recently changed. UV systems were functional Checked all functions of and components of the heatpumps. Found no issues at this time and all components tested within manufacture range No recommendations at this time
Super tune up perfomed today on an Amana duel fuel system. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Gas pressure, igniter and burners are all working as they should. ECM blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Reversing valve and defrost control board are working as they should boutdoor unit was washed and waxed.
