Arrived to eval Customer stated the unit wasn’t working since yesterday afternoon Ran test and the outside vapor line was frozen, the filter is extremely dirty due to construction in the house and the blower is dirty too. Recommend changing the filter out every week until the work is done inside. Once the work is done to also get the system cleaned

07/12/24 TS- brought attention to the homeowner that the water is 17+ years old and will need to be replaced. Because of its location and missing a few parts that need to be brought up too code. The bathroom toilet has a weak flush and needs to be replaced. And last the kitchen sink drain needs to be reworked. The P-trapnis on backwards

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and he stated the upstairs bedrooms would get hotter when the doors are closed and the system is running. Customer stated this is a new system and his old system had no problem cooling the rooms. I started at the furnace and the drain line was clear, however I only had a 16 degree Delta. The area in between the roof and ceiling has no insulation and the attic area was roughly 160°. I believe that the heat from the attic is being absorbed and the ductwork mixing with the cold air and not allowing proper cooling. Additionally that heat is leaking into the bedrooms because of the lack of insulation. At the condenser I had a 15° superheat and a 20° sub cool indicating that the system is overcharged.

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and he stated the outdoor unit was not turning on. The furnace was running and second stage cooling however no refrigerant was pumping through the lines. I got to the outdoor the condenser was not on so check the capacitor and it was well out of tolerance so with the customers permission I replaced it. What's your place everything started working like normal.
