I had invited my son and his wife to stay with me for a few days, until their AC got repaired. The second day here, the temp got up to 90 degrees upstairs. Joshua from Comfort Experts arrived in record time for a night-time call. When we went upstairs, it was still hot, but the AC was blowing cold air! I couldn't believe it! He said as long as he was here, he would check the system out to see if he could spot the problem. He did see what could have caused the event. He was very thorough, very knowledgeable, very polite, very nice to deal with. We have been doing business with this company for years, and I have never been disappointed.
I had two electrical problems And Nathaniel examined each and gave me his opinion about several ways to approach the problems. He was knowledgeable and clear and I appreciated his help.
Garrett explained what he would do so I had a complete understanding. He and his associate did a great job of changing the coil in the AC, and cleaning up afterwards.
Zak did an excellent job getting my air conditioning back up and running. I have been a longtime customer of Comfort Experts. I called them that morning and by that evening my air conditioning was working again.

Mike was pushy and would not leave until I made an appointment I do not intend to keep. Blamed my cat for getting out of the house when the cat has only gone out the door when it has been left open, not while we were walking out. Left the used filter out in my hallway for me to dispose of.
Technician was very nice, helpful and very knowledgeable. The UVC system price is a little high.

Today washed the coil because it had way to much build up. Her filters are clean and freon levels are good. System is online and ready for cooling. No charge for dirty condensor coil. This is part of her maintince.
Came to house to look at why electrical bill is high and talk to Brian and check the few AC things that ended up finding out that it was pulling 22 amps and only had a number of 14.7 on the rating of the AC unit so we are getting an AC tech out here to take a look at it
For this job I performed a super tune up. All mechanical portions and refrigerant portions were working within normal spec limits. The water heater is from 2006, I reccomended having it inspected by a plumber and possibly flushed/cleaned due to age. Homeowner stated anytime in the day would be ok for a plumber to do an inspection.
For this job I performed an evaluation originally scheduled as a a double ST. I completed all portions of the ST but had to evaluate the bigger unit that serves the upstairs area due to low delta and low refrigerant reading on gages. Leak detector went off several times in the evaporator coil but could not pin point an exact spot. I spoke about options between adding refrigerant but the risk of it exasperating the issue and potentially making the leak worse, replacing the evaporator coil as a repair and adding refrigerant once done but informed homeowner of potential near future failures due to age of the unit and considering it has been running with low refrigerant, or replacing the entire unit due to outdated current refrigerant and age of the unit itself. Home owner requested an email of the repair and refrigerant options and a CA to be scheduled between 10-12 Saturday to give an exact estimate for a whole system replacement. Arrived onsite customer has a water heater that is 15 years old needs to be replaced. Went ahead and wrote some options for customer for replacement. Requested I email to him cause he has to talk to his grandmother about replacing and get back to us. Will probably do financing.

For this job we performed a tune up. All electrical and refrigerant components were found within normal spec limits aside from Inrush amps on startup. The inrush amps were above the LRA elrating on the data tag, I suggested a compressor saver kit or a soft start kit plus a membership for discounts and benefits. Upon arrival for evaluation system was operational when I got to the home. I still went ahead and did the evaluation since I was already here I started with indoor unit and checked all components, blower cap is in tolerance blower motor in good condition Drain pan had a switch but no moisture present and drain lines had no clogs Lastly I checked deltas and had 19° of cooling Moved to outdoor and found compressor saver kit indicator bubble was popped but after checking LRA draw it was only slightly above rated amount Capacitor was in tolerance and contactor was in good condition I reviewed with homeowner and recommended compressor saver replacement Homeowner is going to hold off for now but I let her know if issue arrives again to have us come back out and we can see if there is another issue besides compressor saver. System left on cooling upon departure
