For this evaluation the customers system was stuck in cooling because the Reversing Valve was getting constant voltage from R. I unwired the RV from R and put it back where it was supposed to go on the DRCB and the system started Heating.
Technician arrived to customers home. Technician greeted customer and asked questions about their home. Technician then started in attic on air handler. Technician checked electrical readings they where in good condition, aswell as blower heat strips. Technician checked filter and changed it. Technician then went to outside condenser unit. Technician checked electrical readings and all where in range aswell as refrigerant readings. Technician then started washing condenser unit and waxed it. Technician then wrote recommendations. Technician talked to customer about drain having a bit of sludge, she said she was going to hold on that for now.

Super tune up performed today on a 19 year old carrier gas furnace with straight cool condenser. Refrigerant levels are very low and delta T is also very low due to low refrigerant levels. Leak confirmed in the evaporator coil. Evaporator coil is very corroded. Dual run capacitor is weak and should be replaced. Blower wheel is dirty and should be cleaned. Due to the cost of the repairs needed, replacement of the system is highly suggested.
Bearing in Condenser fan motor were rubbing. Replaced Condenser fan motor under lifetime warranty
