New Water Heater

Once again great service from Mark W (and Zack W). Had to replace a water heater. Same day service, easy installation with no hassles and a job well done. Work was excellent and they left the job site cleaner then they found it. I’ll never use anyone else for my plumbing needs.

For this job I performed a evaluation. Upon arrival the first thing that I checked was the indoor unit and the Attic. I quickly noticed that the emergency drain pan had water in it which made me assume either they had a coil freeze with low refrigerant or there was a clock in the primary drain line. I tested the drain line and it was clear. When turning on the system the coils began to freeze, I like search the evaporator coil and quickly found a leak. Homeowner was still under manufacturers warranty so I recommended replacing the evaporator coil. Holding for parts, will reschedule when the evaporator coil comes in. Customer paid for the new coil.

Today I showed up for a super tune-up for a new customer with a 4-year-old pump system when I arrived he expressed his concerns about the initial install said he had several issues with that company and he's tried a few companies in between then and now after checking the system indoor and out I found a few concerns that I brought to the homeowner's attention one was the compressor was overhamping upon startup and my other two main concerns were the level of insulation in the Attic as well as lots of air leaking from the duct work that appears to have been cut open at some point today we installed a soft start kit to mitigate the amp draw on the outdoor unit in the process I also rewired the high voltage as I discovered it was loose from the poor install left an estimate for a code upgrade on the insulation however he is going to wait and talk to Zach on Monday about his duct work before he pulls the trigger on the insulation the appointment with Zack is scheduled for Monday morning fi

Today we showed up for a recall. We previously worked on the jill side in the ,master bathroom . Upon inspection a fitting had a small crack in it that started to allow water to flow by. I replaced the fittings underneath the sink and it solved the leak. Thank you for choosing comfort experts!

2011 5t attic horizontal zone hp carrier. Expired manufacturer warranty. Filters 1" x2 replaced in ceiling. Refrigerant charge below manufacturer tolerance on the data tag which calls for 13° SC but reading less than 2° at 90° ambient. Compressor inrush amperage exceeds manufacturer specifications of 134 reading 156. Blower wheel is heavy with build up. Biological growth present inside indoor unit. Evaporator coil - extreme rust, corrosion and oil stains. Performed a courtesy leak detection and confirmed refrigerant molecules entering into breathable air. Water outside of primary pan. Drain line clear. I expressed and shared all concerns on system performance, reliability and SAFTEY, even bringing her into the attic to show. I provided options due to the age of the system and parts availability. Homeowner initially agreed to a CA appointment but then declined due to her going through a divorce and money was an issue. She spoke about the house not being in her name yet as well. Homeo

When technician arrived the Air Conditioner compressor was cycling off due to high head pressure because the condensor fan was not running. Checked dual capacitor it tested at 0 for fan and 9 for compressor and should have tested at 35/5. I showed this to the homeowner so it can be replaced to further inspect the unit. Replaced capacitor, checked volts, amps, temperature splits, refrigerant pressures including superheat and subcool, checked filter it's OK, checked blower, also checked AC contactor it is pitting pretty badly should be replaced. Got approved to replace contactor so got it replaced and tested, unit is working good at this time.
