Jake came out on one of the coldest day last winter. He replaced a whole breaker box. Fast forward to today and we had a problem in the breaker box and he came out and fixed it in a matter of minutes. Very talented and very respectful. Thank you Jake.
Jake was extremely amazing he's very knowledgeable let me know everything about the job He answer all my questions thank you Jake
Once again great service from Mark W (and Zack W). Had to replace a water heater. Same day service, easy installation with no hassles and a job well done. Work was excellent and they left the job site cleaner then they found it. I’ll never use anyone else for my plumbing needs.
Jonathon completed required service assessment in timely manner. Looks like complete report.
He diagnosed problems and replaced the necessary parts while providing explanations. Got the system running again!
Knowledgeable young man. Got us back up with heat and hot water until a permanent fix can be done. Hopefully soon. Thanks
Service by Colby today. Checked the HVAC system. Fixed a couple minor issues. Now I know I’m good to go for Fall, Winter and into Spring. He did a great job. Always pleased with Comfort Air.
This man was so patient with our issue getting someone to the house so he could do his work and gave me prompt feedback on what he did. Excellent person.
Justin did a great job and took very good care of us! Let us know what the problem was right away.
On this visit I replaced a 40 cap and got rid of the hard start and added a new easy start
On this visit I looked at both heating and cooling of the system. I'm happy to report that they both test in tolerance. The td 20°. The filter is new and condensor is washed. Concerns High LRA 77 The system could benfit from easy start management system. This will reduce the in rush bye 75% give it added longevity and better job performance.
Came to job for GFCI tripping every now and then when storms happen and talk to customer about it and replaced plug giving issues
For this evaluation I inspected the customer's furnace and condenser. Overall everything looked good and all equipment was measuring within manufacturer specifications. I took a look at the customer's water heater as well as the electrical panel, when I took the plate off of the electrical panel the entire left side of the panel and breakers we're running extremely hot at approximately 130° f or 54° c. The rating for those breakers was 40°c indicating those breakers are running extremely hot however they are not tripping. This is a potential fire hazard as well as safety issue which I would highly recommend getting inspected which I offered a free referral for an electrician however the customers may want to go with an independent contractor. To get ahead of any potential issues I did recommend installing a whole home surge protector as well as a hard start kit for the compressor to prevent the compressor from overamping on startup and potential damage that could cause.
Level 3 48k gas horizontal $18,500
For this evaluation, the customers primary drain line had come loose at one of the joints. My best guess is that while I was working yesterday, I either stepped on the primary drain line or bumped it, causing that glue that was holding the PVC into the joint to come loose, and the water was dripping out of the primary drain line into the ceiling. I gave my sincere apologies to the customer and filled out a home damage report and let RYAN know what had happened.
For this cooling tune-up I inspected the customers air handler and condenser. For the most part all equipment was measuring within manufactured specs and running well. The compressor was over ramping on startup with a maximum lra of 152 amps however the compressor was pulling 160 amps on startup. I recommend it to the customer that we install a hard start kit to the compressor to keep the amp draw on startup below the manufacturer specifications. I also discussed installing a whole home surge protector inside the electrical panel. The customer wanted me to go ahead and install an April air filter upgrade kit which I did. A new filter will last her a year and will capture smaller particulates of dust and dirt circulating throughout the home. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts!!

Today I showed up for a 45 after coming out yesterday and dealing with a couple of mechanical issues being the capacitor and the thermostat turns out I was unaware that this model of thermostat requires the W to be put to auxiliary for a heat pump so this is a mistake on me and therefore I have recalled the service fee while I was out here the homeowner asked me to verify his refrigerant levels I found them to be severely low we discussed options for Elite detection and the situation with parts through the manufacturer homeowner was going to have me just put refrigerant in and see how long it lasts but he was trying to get pre-authorization for reimbursement through his Home Warranty company they only offered to reimburse a fraction of the price so he decided that he's going to have the Home Warranty company come out and service the system
Today I showed up for an evaluation on a 10-year-old system upon arrival the fan motor was not running and the compressor was trying found a bad capacitor replaced it and realized the system was running in heat mode this is because the thermostat was not sending a call to the reversing valve replaced the thermostat everything is running and Cooling as it should be however I also recommended a deep cleaning of the condensing unit replacing the filter as well as the fan motor due to oil leaking from the motor and the defrost control board is showing signs of burnout also discussed soft start versus hard start homeowner chose to only go with the two repairs today of the capacitor and the thermostat this is the first time out of warranty that either of these items has been purchased moving forward these will be covered under the membership lifetime warranty thank you for choosing comfort experts!
