The young man appearance and professional conduct was very much appreciated
My experience with Casey was fantastic! He was willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
This r22 system is low on freon and needs cap 55 7.5 Being that I don't carry r22 there's nothing I can do for her today. She would like someone to come out and see her for replacement. This Monday.
After inspection I determined ductwork underneath home has already bowed and is sagging. It has already been bootleg repaired I sent estimates to repair. Customer is unsure of how they want to fix this and require some time to think it through.
Homeowner stated that the condenser fan would turn off after a while of use. Per my evaluation of a 2011 3.5 ton trane HP, I found these major issues. Blower wheel has a heavy layer of dirt, dust and debris which reduces optimal airflow to the house. Heavy biological growth on the indoor unit. Liquid line/evaporator coil leaks detected. No drop down ladder for ease of access to the indoor unit. Return ducting at the plenum needs to be reveled. Outdoor unit is extremely un-level which compromises the compressor due to the proper amount of oil being able to be where its suppose to be for proper performance. Scorching on primary Electrical control contactor. Shorted out lizards ontop of the contactor and capacitor. Compressor RLA is high. Temperature of the suction line in heatmode indicates undercharge. No manufacturer warranties. System trips on thermal overload due to the aforementioned issues with the compressor and refrigerant. Bringing this all to the attention to the homeowne
Performed HTU on 2019 goodman 4 ton electric. Filters replaced. R3mived unnecessary filter on the laundry room door since indoor unit already has a filter on door and ontop of the evaporator coil. Drain line clear. Blower needs cleaning. Evaporator coil needs cleaning. Electrical connections secure. Electric heatstrips proper OHMs REMINDED and Discussed the importance of getting blower wheel and Evaporator coil cleaned, shared estimates and customer clampimed hopefully by next tuneup they'll have the funds.
Upon arrival system was in working condition. Client stated that for the past few days system has not been cooling properly. 11° delta. Refrigerant levels are acceptable. Compressor running on 50% amps. Client will need a new compressor.
Trash found within duct board from 3 different supply vents. Recommend cleaning customer declined and decided to clean themselves.
Arrived to unit completely out of refrigerant, performed leak search found leak on evaporator coil ,informed customer of this and options and he wants to call aro7nd but wants me to follow up tuseday
Completed my thorough inspection, the indoor unit was inspected and found all connection on properly. The blower motor has biological growth and home owner was experiencing breathing issues, the biological growth is also building up on the inside housing plate. I'd highly advise getting a UV system installed to kill it from growing and a duct cleaning to flush out any growth accumulating in the system ducts. The outdoor unit was washed and the capacititor was within rating, unit is functioning properly.
Found low voltage short on the indoor field wiring cut all low voltage at air handler back and redid the wiring unit is now up and running
Install 36k heat pump Upflow Includes- 1,400 Sq ft of R-29 Includes April Aire filter
Primary electrical control, build up on blower wheel, biological growth, evaporator coil rusty and corroded, system upgrade do to age condition and refrigerate phase out.
CTU complete Drain line clear Filters inspected Blower wheel and motor inspected EVAP coil inspected Electrical connections inspected DeltaT inspected Outdoor unit washed and waxed Fan motor and blade inspected Coil inspected Electrical contactor inspected Capacitor inspected Noticed the heatstrips had tripped a breaker at some point. Talked to the customer about the importance of system rejuvenation.
Did a evaluation on 13 year old comfortmaker air handler and 15 year old comfortmaker condenser electric system, checked capacitor, checked filter, drain is good, found the compressor would come on but the condenser fan motor would not, tested motor and found it had shorted out and needed to be replaced, customer staed they have to talk to husband and would get back with us by the end of the day, recommended a membership, condenser fan motor (oem),condenser fan motor(universal),and replacing system due to age
