Investigated customer-reported intermittent gravelly noise primarily audible upstairs while furnace was operating normally. Inspection revealed a heavily soiled furnace filter which was replaced, and identified the humidifier as producing fan noise with a pad requiring replacement. System operation was verified after filter replacement, with recommendations to monitor for noise recurrence. Scheduled follow-up water heater inspection.
