Arrived on site to perform a full system inspection on a 2 year old carrier AC with ongoing issues. Since it’s been installed clients have lamented the fact it’s low on refrigerant year after year. The installation company (new build) had replaced multiple compromised and has chased their tail with finding the leaks. We checked the entire system in heat and cooling and found the same issue, low charge. Along with that, we found the outdoor coils very dirty and the drain line not connected fully. We found leaks at the outdoor service valve and sachrader cores were leaking. We quoted all repairs and client will reach up to the builder one last time but if they get the runaround he’s going to call us back to get on our Homecare plan and to tackle repairs. He thanked us for coming out and I emailed him photos and updated estimates.
