We came out due to system not cooling. Upon further investigation, we found the low pressure switch wire on heat pump had rubbed raw exposing bear copper. This bear copper was rubbing up against the TXV causing it to short itself out blowing the fuse. We stripped the wire, connected them back together with wire nut and wrapped it in electrical tape to ensure no more issues. We also noticed the drain line was clogged, filter was extremely dirty, no flood protection at all on the air handler, and outdoor fan leaking oil, dirty blower wheel, dirty evaporator coil, and dirty AC coil. After going over all options, customer wanted us to repair wire, clear drain line, and install flood protection. We completed all tasks and verified system is operating before departure.
