- 9/11/25: Came out for system, not cooling. Found the unit completely frozen up from the indoor to the outdoor unit, including the compressor. Informed the tenant as well as the homeowner. Homeowner needs to make sure that the tenant keeps the system turned off before we come. The filter was slightly dirty, but could not confirm that this was what is causing the immediate issue. We will need to return to diagnose. - 9/12/25: today we came out to check the system after it was frozen and found that the unit is short on ductwork which includes the return as well as an improper design of the zoning on the supply side. The unit requires a 12 inch bypass based on the airflow rather than a 10 inch to carry more air when only one zone is open. the system is also short on return by an 8 inch duct that we would need to add on. Also noticed that the system has subpar protections and the evaporator coil is putting off a “dirty sock” smell from the vents. Due to the ductwork issues, the system i
