Water inside return plenum. Evaporator coil extremely dirty inside and giving air restriction and contaminating the air in the house. Drain line is clogged. I was able to unclog drain line and cleaned evaporator coil. System had no filter. System is working with little high pressure and compressor has high amperage, due to being working with very dirty evaporator coil. Put a filter in the system (16/25/1) and told customer to replace it every three months. Signs of mold in the duct lines. Also vacuumed water inside the return plenum. Found a leak in the evaporator coil. System is 7 years old , working at this time, but not in good condition. Customer purchase the house one month ago and had to replace water heater. Best option , due to the condition of the system, would be to upgrade the system , and bring warranty, comfort and efficiency back to the house. And possible replace duct lines, as well.
