Inspected non-functional Kenmore water softener (approximately 6-7 years old) at tenant property. Discovered significant dam formation in salt chamber. Documented current system condition including salt level and control panel status. After assessment, removed existing salt and performed diagnostic testing. Prepared unit for installation of customer-provided replacement softener. Photographed electrical panel for reference during service. Obtained landlord approval before proceeding with work.
