Responded to no heat complaint where customer reported thermostat running but insufficient airflow. Diagnosed system was operational but found potential overheating issue with air temperature in ductwork reaching 140-145°F approaching limit switch threshold (160°F). Determined primary cause was restricted airflow due to closed vents throughout bottom floor. Performed system check including drain inspection and flame sensor cleaning. Noted inducer motor exhibiting noise and provided replacement recommendation. Advised customer to keep all vents open and adjust thermostat settings rather than closing vents to maintain proper system operation and reduce stress on blower motor.
