Responded to complaint of loud humming noise occurring when toilets are flushed in a well-supplied residence. Identified vibration in the cold, soft water line within the mechanical room as the source of noise transmission throughout the house. Removed support clamps securing copper lines to wooden framing members, which eliminated the vibration issue. Instructed customer to contact if noise recurs.
