Called out to inspect a toilet leaking at the base. Upon arrival found that the toilet was shift and leaked from the wax seal. Advised the homeowner that we would need to start with a pull and reset but that the flange could potentially be broken. Homeowner agreed and work was started. Began by shutting off water to the toilet and removing the toilet. Once removed I noticed that the flange was indeed broken. Gave homeowner updated price to replace the flange. Began by cutting out broken flange and installed a new pvc flange mounted to the ground. Once flange was set, reinstalled toilet with a new wax ring and bolts. Once complete I tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and toilet is working properly. Thank you for trusting TE certified with all your plumbing needs.
