I came out to investigate an issue with the breaker, tripping for the kitchen lights. After diagnosing the issue, I found that the can lights in the kitchen were causing the breaker to trip. This is due to the use of. Waygos as connectors inside of the recessed cans. Fortunately, as these age and expand, they will arc and cause your arc fault breaker to trip. The solution is to rewire the recessed cans with wire nuts. I was able to rewire five before I found the correct one so there’s still four more that have not been rewired. Those are the first two lights and the last two lights in case this should happen again. I also installed a new USB outlet above your small bar next to the dining room.
