Installed new 50 gallon electric water heater in garage utility room. Reworked all water lines to accomodate the new install. New water heater is installed in a code approved drip pan and elevated above the flood level rim of the pan to prevent water damage to the heater. Secured new expansion tank is secured to structure via a bracket and new 1/4 turn isolating water shutoff valve was installed. Installed code required electrical disconnect and wired the heater testing for leaks and proper function. Expansion tank is set to 80 psi. Client declined replacement of the recirculation pump at this time. We reconnected the existing pump to the water heater. And left it unplugged due to it not working. Left a quote for pump replacement. Existing pressure regulator had failed and was allowing 120psi into the home. Replaced the pressure regulator with a dual union Watts 25AUB and reworked the water line to accomodate the new device. Also replaced the main shutoff valve and added a secondary
