Performed diagnostic on two 12yr old amana heat pumps, upon arrival customer stated she wanted both units looked over due to they run loud and downstairs she stated when it’s at 73 it feels cold but 75 she feels hot, both tstst was satisfied at set temp, started on upstairs unit first, cycled heat to 80, unit started up, went to attic and inspected unit, checked filter, recommend TE flood protection wet switch to prevent and water damage to ceiling, evap coil starting to rust, checked blower wheel, blower capacitor, checked heat strips, checked outdoor unit, found outdoor coil impacted, recommend cleaning condenser coil, explained to customer with dirty coil not getting accurate reading on pressures, checked capacitor, reading below specs, recommend replacing capacitor, contactor starting to burn and pitty, recommend replacing contactor as well, checked amp draws and temp split, recommend uv light to help with organic growth inside unit, next started on main floor unit, cycled tstst to
