Upon arrival customer stated that mini split system leaks a lot of water from time to time. After inspection of system found that the mini split control the kitchen area there is a lot of grease build up inside of the system, filter was very clogged with a lot of grease. Drain line and system is clogging due to the mixture of water and grease in system, unit has not been serviced in the 5 years it was installed and it is out of warranty. Customer asked if we could just replace indoor part of system, I checked with manufacturer and there is no r410a parts made for this system any more and the part number is obsolete is their database. Advised customer that mini split would have to be changed and servicing on system would need to happen at least 3 times a year to prevent system from obtaining a lot of build up. System is cooling at this time.
