Water Service is HDPE piping coming through the foundation wall. There is a leak on the water service somewhere. This is proved by isolating the house and monitoring the meter. Meter continues to read movement despite isolated house. Dug up at house and at meter. Trenched from water meter to sidewalk. Bored under sidewalk. Ran new 1” HDPE piping for, meter to house. Installed new shutoff valve at meter, and new meter box after meter to house the shutoff valve. Drilled through foundation wall. Installed new 3/4” Type L soft copper through wall. Wrapped copper with protective tape to prevent corrosion from concrete. Installed approximately 8’ of new 3/4” PEX inside. Installed new ball valve inside. Connected to existing CPVC water distribution system via a CPVC by press adapter. Turned water on and left exposed for 30 minutes to ensure no leaking. Buried back piping through yard, at the house, and at the meter.
