Customers' front yard hose bib sticking out of the wall and freeze busted. Homeowner agreed to have the hose bib and emergency shut off valve replaced.And installed, as there was not an emergency shut off valve for the hose bib to begin with. Water was already off to the home. Replaced hose bib and installed emergency shut off valve and allowed glue to dry for at least two hours as this was on city pressure. Afterwards, turn the water back on and slowly primed the house and tested for leaks. No leaks, however, the customer does have a problem on their drainage side. Water was coming out of the sewer main next to his washing machine in the unfinished basement.
