Called out to address the kitchen disposal not working. Attempted to un jam the disposal with no luck. Advised the homeowner that we would need to replace the disposal. Gave homeowner options for either a 1/2 HP or a 3/4 HP disposal. Homeowner agreed to proceed with the 1/2 HP disposal and work was started. Began by shutting off the power at the breaker. Once power was off, removed old disposal and cleaned the area. Replaced disposal collar and installed new 1/2 HP disposal. Once work was complete turned the power back on at the breaker and tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and disposal is functioning properly.
