I arrived to customers home and they’re in the due diligence. Period of buying a home. today I did a camera inspection on the sewer line from the inside cleanout up to the county tap. during the camera inspection I was able to discover original cast-iron piping of the home, bellied piping, warped piping, and pipe that was cracking and tree roots have grown in those openings. The sewer tap is 5 feet deep. The water heater was not installed up to code missing a drain pan, the T&p wine was ran to the floor of a unfinished basement, the thermal expansion tank was not strapped to the structure of the home, and the pressure reducing valve was builder grade undersized. The customer was also talked to about water filtration and automatic water shut off. The estimates provided are good for 30 days.
