Customer had water turned off whenever I arrived and a dripping pinhole on three quarter inch cold copper inside the unfinished garage. I informed the customer that I was able to observe that there were multiple spots of corrosion.Some worse than others on the exact same line. I gave the customer multiple options.As far as how to take care of this, including and up to a repipe. A customer decided to replace the worst section at this moment in time. Which had visible green corrosion, where it had actively been leaking or has leaked in the past. Drained the house down after the customer agreed to do so and removed a roughly five foot section of pipe. Install new section. Afterwards I slowly turn the water back onto the home.I am primed all of the air out of the lines. Checked fixtures for any signs of clogging.
