As we arrived today, customer explained to us that he just had a new GFI receptacle installed in the garage with another electrician. The GFI keeps tripping on him, even after the new receptacle was installed. As we started testing everything out piece by piece removed objects from the circuit. Eventually, all we had left was the GFI attached to the power. The only thing that would trip the GFI was the freezer that was brought in from the family‘s house. Customer explained that after the new GFI was installed, he did not have the big freezer that was brought home plugged in. He only had two small freezers and everything else that was originally on the circuit in the garage and it’s still tripped. After examining the receptor, you could see that it was a very cheaply made receptacle built in China, which is always very sketchy. We replaced the GFI with one of our Legrand GFI, which is a top quality outlet. We plugged everything back into the circuit except for the big freezer and
