Came out today to perform HVAC service call on the downstairs system. Upon arrival, customer stated that the system was not coming on unless the husband wiggled a wire then the system would kick on for just a second and turn back off. upon inspection of the system found the system to be from 1995. Upon further inspection noticed there was black marks around the burners due to improper igniter and thermal coupling. Also found thermal thermal coupling to be cross threaded on the gas valve epoxy closed. The blower well was dirty, the indoor coil was dirty, could not get system to start up due to failed parts. At this time due to the age of the system, the parts are obsolete and a customer would like to move forward with getting quote to replace the system
