Excavate located section of damaged pipe just in front of the meter after dual check valve locate pipe and make repair install new three-quarter inch meter nipple and new three-quarter inch dual check attached to new section of pipe filling, excavation hole and cleanup Dug down and expose the leak behind the water meter. It was leaking on a Ford fitting connected to the PVC. We cut off the water and remove the section of pipe that was leaking plus the meter meter nipple and duel check valve. We then installed a new meter nipple with a new dual check valve connecting to the existing PVC. Restored water and check for leaks, found no leaks.
