Installed a new expansion tank on the water heater and properly secured it with a stainless steel mounting bracket. Replaced the existing water heater shutoff valve by upgrading from an outdated gate valve to a new ball valve. Removed the flexible hot-side hose connection and hard-piped the water heater using copper. In the basement kitchen, corrected improperly installed angle stops by installing new ones under the sink. Replaced faulty supply lines due to a leak originating from the PEX supply line feeding the faucet. Replaced the basket strainer and master trap beneath the basement kitchen sink due to evidence of an ongoing drain leak.
