For this job, the customer wanted to do routine maintenance on their outdoor tankless, installed 5 years ago. They also wanted to make sure the installation was correct. They also had an issue one time with the condensation drain freezing causing the unit to throw an error code. The customer opted to go with option 1 to flush the unit, install two isolation valves for the unit, as well as a thermal expansion tank and halo ionizer to help with maintenance of the unit. To fix the condensation issue we ran 1 inch cpvc out of the unit, and insulated the piping to prevent from freezing. The last issue we addressed was the tnp valve was not piped out of the protective cover of the unit. We drilled a new hole for the tnp, and ran out cpvc. We performed work, and tested everything.
