The customer had a new light fixture he wanted to be installed in the garage ceiling and the garage door opener was attached to the fixture via a socket/plug adapter. The homeowner is aware that with the option he picked, the switch in the 3g box located by the garage door has to remain on for the garage door to work and in doing so will keep the overhead light on. I removed the old light fixture and installed a box by the light and garage door opener, installed new wiring, a junction box, an outlet and plate. After completing I installed the customer supplied fixture. I went to the panel and supplied and installed a new GFCI breaker on circuit #2 on the panel board. I took the existing circuit from two and moved it to 15b.
