Performed a Homecare maintenance inspection on all 6 HVAC systems in the home (attic, upstairs, upstairs loft, main floor, master bedroom and basement). Tested heating, auxillary heating and cooling from the thermostats. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the systems. Checked and replaced all 4” media filters. Reported findings to the customer. With approval from the customer, fixed the high voltage connections at the attic air handler. Tested operation to ensure the system functions properly. Recommended having an electrician double check the circuit to ensure it is set up properly. (Circuit breaker is 40 amps on a 60 amp max fuse. On its own this is fine, however the unit is pulling 42-43 amps and not tripping the breaker.) Reported results to the customer.
