Tech arrived to no heat call for downstairs system. Customer expressed system was not heating at all and doing nothing. Inspected system. Verified thermostat was acting as if call was leaving thermostat to unit. Checked indoor unit in crawlspace and unit was doing nothing. No error codes, water or anything tripped. Jumped out thermostat via R&W and system came on. Watched system operations and system ran as intended without issue. System lacks adequate flood protection, only a condensate pump safety. While upstairs noticed upstairs system has no flood protection at all. Customer interested in two thermostat replacements and other repairs. Brought recommendations to customer. Customer agreed to join HomeCare maintenance on two systems (Maintenance not performed today.) Tech replaced both thermostats in home and verified heating operations on both, also replaced upstairs filter. Made note of flood protection noticed. Systems are operational and heating at techs departure. Thank you f
