Bonus room heat pump not working and blowing cold air. Found dual capacitor bad (reading 35 out of a 40 microfarad) and compressor locked. Replaced capacitor and system works. System is 17 years old and air quality is compromised in the house. Also, possible leaking in the system (couldn’t find any leak in the evaporator coil). Due to the be and conditions of the system, the best option would be to upgrade the system, with 10 years warranty and update the zoning , as well. Set a lead to quote upgrading the heat pump system, for Thursday 02/05 after 3 pm. We should credit back 277,00 if customer upgrade the system.
