For this job, the customer showed us a leak coming from the thermal expansion tank, as well as a freeze break somewhere in the basement wall which they had turned off. After investigation we found the water pressure to the home was 100 psi causing the failure of the expansion tank. The customer opted to go with option 3 to replace the PRV, and thermal expansion tank, as well as two new shut offs for the home, and water heater. Last issue we addressed was we brought the tnp drain line up to code as a courtesy since we were working on the water heater. We performed work, tested everything, and cleaned up.
