I came out to install a new outlet for your tankless hot water heater. You had a dedicated unused circuit nearby so I was able to pull a wire from that circuit, run it through conduit, and add a new box and outlet. I did not replace your breaker with a safety breaker since your intent is to replace the entire panel very soon. We discussed upgrading your panel with new arc fault breakers to bring it up to code however there is not enough room in that GE panel with those slim line breakers to install arc breakers. The solution is to replace that panel with a larger panel, which will be bringing in the house up to code. This will include installing new smoke detectors in the bedrooms, as well as install installing surge protectors on the panels.
