Brand new install , from other company. Heat is not working. Draft inducer motor starts, but it runs for about 15 seconds and gives the code EEJ. It is related to bad circuit board or thermostat communication error. I inspected the entire system, all wire connections are secure, got 120volts to the inducer motor. I unhooked all thermostat wires from the board and bypassed the heat, and still doing the same thing. Circuit board needs to be replaced in order to do the full diagnostic. Other thing is happening. When I unhooked the blower motor wire, from the board, the heat worked, but not the blower motor. As I hooked blower motor wire back to the board, the heat stop to work and gives the same error code EEJ. It’s possible the blower motor is shorting the heat. Circuit board is in back order and will take 2 weeks to get it. Customer will contact the company that installed this system.
