Homeowner has a leak that was located underneath the kitchen cabinet. The kitchen cabinet has a base with water lines underneath. The leak can be heard from inside the cabinet. Cut out and removed base of cabinet. Found leak once 3/4” PEX water line for the hot side. Cut and removed failed section of PEX piping. Installed new 3/4” PEX piping with a 90° fitting to reduce stress on previously bent PEX. Turned water on and tested kitchen sink to ensure proper function. Found no additional leaks at this time. Homeowner has a thermal expansion tank that is six years old. Removed old thermal expansion tank. Charged new thermal expansion tank to 75 PSI. Installed male adapter into female adapter attached to existing plumbing system. Installed thermal expansion tank bracket on nearby stud. Mounted expansion tank to bracket. Installed approximately 2’ of new 3/4” Type L copper to expansion tank. Labeled and dated expansion tank. Turned water on and tested for leaks. Turned on recirculation pu
