Tech arrived to problem call for upstairs system. Homeowner had expressed that the system was not heating properly. System is approximately 10 years old. Inspected system. Found that the indoor blower motor was having issues starting and coming on/off randomly. Capacitor tested within specs. Found indoor unit dirty and in need of cleaning. Verified heat strips are operational. Checked outdoor unit. Refrigerant pressures are within specs at this time. Outdoor unit is dirty and in need of cleaning. Brought recommendations to customer. Homeowner agreed to sign up for HomeCare maintenance on two systems, replace motor and add wet switch upstairs. Tech changed out PSC motor with OEM PSC motor and capacitor. Add wet switch in series with two float switches and in line float switch. Verified operations after repairs. System is now heating at techs departure.
