As we arrived today, Mrs. Cline and Randy explained to us in detail how the lights in kitchen area have been flickering from time to time. It’s not continuous. It’s just every now and then. We did witness it multiple times while we were here. We did a troubleshoot on the entire circuit. First, we removed the electrical panel and checked everything inside. All connections were solid in the electrical panel, but I did find multiple breakers that are incorrect for this panel. This panel is a GE panel and it had six tandem Siemens breakers installed in the panel, which is incorrect and could keep these breakers from tripping properly, which is a danger. Unfortunately, this panel does not take tandem GE breakers so the only way to fix this problem would be to replace the entire panel. The panel is more than 50 years old, so it would definitely be recommended to get an upgraded panel at the least. I’m going to attach an estimate for a new panel installation.
