The customer has a leak on a 2” pvc ball valve that serves as the shutoff valve for the fire suppression and the domestic water supply. Repair includes removing water heater, replacing the ball valve with a brass ball valve, properly supporting the water piping, and reconnecting to the schedule 80 pvc that leads to the fire suppression, and the pex water piping that supplies the domestic water. Includes reinstallation of and reconnection of the water heater. We are not responsible for any of the fire suppression components. Work performed: replaced 2” shutoff valve and tee using copper piping. We used pvc transition fittings and allowed 4 hours of cure time before restoring water to the home. We Removed and reinstalled 5 year old water heater so repairs could be made. We checked gas connections to ensure there were no leaks and set the temperature back to where it was when we arrived.
