Call delta address issue with toilet running in main floor powder room. Found that the flapper was not fully sitting. Gave the homeowner options for full replacement or just to do a minor rebuild on the toilet. Homeowner agreed to do a minor rebuild and work with started. Began by shutting off water supply to toilet and removing old fill valve, flapper, and supply line. Replaced with new fill valve, flapper, and new supply line. Once all work was complete re-introduced water to the toilet and tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and everything is functioning properly. Advised the homeowner that the water heater was over 12 years old and would potentially need to be replaced due to them selling the home. Gave the homeowner different options for a water heater replacement. Homeowner will review and call to schedule when ready to move forward.
