Tech found vision pro thermostat blank on arrival. Tech confirmed 24 volts to thermostat. Screen is blank. Tech diagnosed failed vision pro thermostat. Jumped equipment out directly by the wires. Heat strip contactor pulls in, but blower was not running. Tech jumped R to G. Confirmed line and low voltage call to blower. VS blower motor will not start. Unresponsive. Tech also diagnosed failed variable speed blower motor. Due to system age and corrosion on indoor coil, tech swept indoor coil with leak detector. Did not find indoor coil leaking. Outdoor unit is heavily corroded from salt air. Did not find outdoor unit leaking. To repair system, we would need to replace thermostat and variable speed blower motor. Due to number and cost of repairs, tech recommends replacing system. Forwarded to office to give options. Needs both repair and replace options. Customer requested looking at options to replace downstairs system too due to it being the same age and adding a mini split to the up
