Upon arrival to home both systems in home wer not operational Downstairs thermostat had no power Outdoor condenser for upstairs was turning on compressor but not fan I began with indoor for downstairs and found transformer and board has 24v but I was not getting 24v to thermostat, I checked wet switch which was tied into 24v and was losing voltage, I bypassed wet switch and unit turned on and was functioning again I checked wet switch and it was bad. I moved to outdoor to check upstairs unit and found capacitor was bad on both herm and fan sides Recommended capacitor replacement Recommended drain switch replacement Homeowner agreed to both and I quickly replaced both parts After finishing up both units were cooling great and units were operational again.
