Comfort maker straight cool condenser with air handler installed in 2016. Electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. X13 blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel is very dirty and needs to be cleaned. Biological growth is present inside the air handler. 45/7.5 dual run capacitor is out of spec and needs to be replaced. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Highly suggest replacing the failure capacitor and adding a compressor saver and a germicidal UV light.
TXV bulb had shifted to the bottom of the vapor line causing it to read incorrect temps. Technician moved the bulb back to its proper location and readjusted refrigerant levels. System operating as it should upon departure. This has been an ongoing issue that is hopefully fixed now.
Installed new condenser fan motor, checked system in both heating and cooling, system is operating efficiently
Need to order condenser fan motor for outdoor, fan is getting stuck in cooling stage 1 Amp draws high Bearing loose on fan motor Cb 45 NEED TO ORDER WARRANTY CONDENSER FAN MOTOR FOR MAIN HOUSE CONDENSER
During inspection discovered that system was tripped on locked rotor code and cap was still within tolerance let customer know that this year and model have a tendency to trip this code due to, to much amps being pulled let customers wife know that we got part installed Under P&L
Upon arrival line set and compressor were completely frozen. Indoor Evaporator coil was frozen as well. Customer stated system was in heat. System is straight electric outdoor was running while in heat mode. Found that primary electrical unit at condenser had ants inside and was welded close keeping condenser on. Replaced primary electrical unit and fixed problem.
Tyler L completed electrical service work and replace the breaker inside of the disconnect for the outside unit
During inspection discovered that disconnect for outdoor unit had a voltage drop and let customer know I would be sending the electrician to swap it out tomorrow and double check the breaker box Talked to office and Tyler to setup appt for tomorrow
Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Washed and cleaned condenser. Changed filter.
2016 Goodman Gas Furnace Checked and tightened all electrical connections Customer recently changed filter Drain clear and draining poured a gallon of water down Blower motor and wheel were acceptable Evaporator coil was acceptable Heat exchanger was acceptable All safeties were functional 2016 Goodman heat pump Dual run capacitor was within manufacturers range Electrical connections were acceptable Refrigerant levels were acceptable at this time Defrost board was acceptable Defrost was functional Condenser coil was acceptable Fan blades and motor were acceptable Washed coil from inside out Waxed top of unit Recommended uv light to keep system clean
Arrived at location and spoke with home owner. Inspected system. No issues found at time of inspection.
Upon arrival for service system on and not cooling. Inspected system and founf primary electrical control damaged. Replaced primary electrical control and system came on and cooled properly. Left system on and cooling.
