For this job, I worked on a evaluation for this heat pump system. As I arrived customers mentioned that system had not been running for the past 2 months and neither side cooling or heating. As of the first issue, the outside condenser was not getting any voltage. I went to the main panel, and customer had a trip breaker. After turning on the breaker again, only the fan started running, and after a couple of minutes the compressor started running. I went through the parts of the system and checked why the compressor what run for a couple minutes and then turn off. I gauged up, and noticed that the compressor was hitting high pressure, this was causing the compressor to stop functioning. Everything was explained to the customers and I offered the possible solutions. Customers mentioned that they will look and see if they still have warranty from the other company, and they will call the office if they end up deciding on doing the job.
