The hoods and filters looked really good and they cleaned up behind themselves well, however due to them not turning back on the return and/or fans on the roof top our kitchen was filling with smoke. We had to call our heating and air people out to find out the problem and they said that it was left off on the roof top so even though the hood vent were on the returns or roof top exhaust was not. This was an unnecessary expense that could have been avoided.

12yr Hydrostatic Test Due: (2) Ansul 6-Gallon Systems Hood #1: Ansul 6-Gallon System (2013 Manufacture Date) Hood #2: Ansul 6-Gallon System (2013 Manufacture Date) During your most recent Fire Protection Inspection, our technicians noted that one or more of your Fire Suppression Tanks are due for a hydrostatic test per: NFPA 17A: 7.5.1 The following parts of wet chemical extinguishing systems shall be subjected to hydrostatic pressure testing at intervals not exceeding 12 years: Wet Chemical Containers Auxiliary Pressure Containers Hose Assemblies Fire Suppression Tanks are required to be pressure tested using water or some other non-compressible fluid to help prevent unwanted failure or rupture of the cylinder. NFPA 17A also requires the replacement of the cartridge used to expel suppression chemical hoses, o-rings, and burst discs. The proposal below is all-inclusive and includes all parts and labor.
