6yr Maintenance Test Needed - (1) 10# ABC FE 6-Year Maintenance During your most recent Fire Protection Inspection, our technicians noted that one or more of your Fire Extinguishers are due for a code required 6 yr maintenance per: NFPA 10: 4.4.3 - Dry chemical extinguishers every 6 years Disassemble the extinguisher and discard the old fire extinguishing agent. Inspect the extinguisher cylinder for internal damage. Replace all O-rings, the valve stem, and the hose (if needed). Reassemble the extinguisher. Recharge the extinguisher with the new dry chemical agent. Check for any leaks using a leak detection agent. The proposal below is all-inclusive and includes all parts and labor.
