Responded to a call where the homeowner ported the system would shut off at times and randomly switch between heating and cooling after checking I found the thermostat was accidentally set to schedule mode which can cause automatic mode change I also checked the control board history and found restricted air flow code. the air filter condition confirmed restricted air flow so I replaced the filter and testing the system is running properly in both heating and cooling.
