Arrived to no cool. Outdoor Amana condenser showing an 04 "locked rotor" code. Performed a hard reset and unit started up and ran. Found that the compressor saver had been compromised and replaced it under warranty. The TXV bulb was corroded and was on the bottom of the vapor line. Technician cleaned off the TXV bulb and the vapor line and moved the bulb to the 10 o'clock position. System running and cooling upon departure. Customer experienced a surge recently and this may have been the issue.
