I offered a surge protector to protect the unit in case of power surge during the storm, a compressor saver to lower the initial amp draw or a soft start device to work as surge protection and lower amp draw all in one. Homeowner did not commit to having any work done at the moment and stated they would think about it. I left the estimates as open estimates for the homeowner to have as reference if they ever decide to go ahead and move forward with an installation.
