I did an evaluation. I was at the house earlier and condenser was not running so I replaced the cap. System had turned on compressor was running before I left upon arriving again. The compressor would not turn on it went into thermal lock. I washed the condenser off and turned the system back on, and the condenser kicked back on for a few seconds before immediately thermal locking out again. Homeowner was outside with me to witness the issue and we suggested a comfort advisor. Come out for unit replacement.
